Branding
IMAGEM FEMININA
IS REINVENTING
ITSELF THROUGH A
NEW VISUAL IDENTITY
We worked under the Aga Khan Foundation’s entrepreneurship program to help minority-owned micro-businesses develop brand identities that speak to their communities. Imagem Feminina, a tattoo & beauty salon, is one of those projects: we created a cohesive visual system and a voice that balances bold self-expression with approachable care.
Problem
Imagem Feminina offered a wide range of services. nails, hair, tattoos, and makeup therefore struggling to express it under one clear identity. The brief was to unify those services into a brand that felt both elegant and bold: refined enough for beauty, confident enough for ink, and flexible across every touchpoint.
Beauty and tattoo under one roof.
Now with a single, confident identity.

Solution
Communicate and align with the client on goals, audience, and constraints
Research the category and benchmark competitors to spot patterns, gaps, and opportunities.
Define positioning and map services into clear categories
Design a modular identity system with usage rules.
Build and test rollout assets and refine before launch.
